Fodder Scam: Jharkhand HC rejects Lalu Yadav's bail plea in Dumka Treasury Case

Ranchi, Feb 19 (UNI) In a major set back to jailed RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, the Jharkhand High Court on Friday rejected his bail plea in Dumka Treasury Case of the fodder scam.



The court of justice Apresh Kumar Singh rejected the bail petition of Lalu Yadav. Had the court granted him bail it would have enabled Lalu Yadav to come out in open.



Lalu Yadav is currently undergoing treatment for various health related ailments at AIIMS New Delhi.

Financial Committees formed in Manipur

Imphal, Feb 19 (UNI) Speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly, Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Friday announced that the three Financial Committees namely Committee on Public Accounts, Committee on Estimates and Committee on Public Undertakings have been unanimously constituted. The committees will consist of seven members each.
