The four-button Lifx smart switch has been recalled due to the risk of fire and electric shock.
Both the black (LFSWBLKT4FAU) and white (LFSWWHT4FAU) versions of the Lifx smart switch have been recalled.
The problem is that an incorrectly installed screw can cause a short circuit, leading to the risk of fire and electric shock.
The switches were sold by Lifi Labs and JB Hi-Fi between October 2019 and September 2020.
Owners should be contacted by Lifi Labs, which will arrange for an electrician to replace the screws, though consumers may opt for a refund or replacement instead.
