Ted Cruz is returning to Texas after receiving criticism for flying to Cancun, Mexico as his state freezes amid an unprecedented winter storm.

It comes as the Trump progeny put their Maga dynasty on hold as Donald Trump mulls a 2024 presidential bid following his second impeachment acquittal. While Ivanka Trump told Marco Rubio she wouldn't challenge him in 2022, Lara Trump is reportedly considering a Senate bid in North Carolina.

Trump himself, meanwhile, is considering creating his own alternate social media platform after being banned from Twitter - which has been "boring" without him.

Microsoft's billionaire founder Bill Gates, however, thinks that Twitter will likely allow the ex-president back, despite his "corrosive" tweets.
