“The committees reviewed the progress of the proposed projects and land allotment,” the regional deputy director of JIADA, Prem Ranjan, said.
“Due to the lockdown and the pandemic, the pace of the projects was badly hit. But since the beginning of 2021, the regional office has sped up the process of clearing projects and Thursday’s meeting should be viewed in that context,” an ancillary owner said on the condition of anonymity.
Notably, the state industry director, Jeetendra Singh, during his visit to the Adityapur industrial area in January, reviewed the progress of the works undertaken by the regional office and directed the officials to pace up the process of land allotment and infrastructure development. The director had also interacted with the entrepreneurs to learn about the bottlenecks impeding the implementation of the projects.
