Attack on restaurant owner’s son highly condemnable: Tarigami

Srinagar, Feb 18 (UNI) Senior CPI(M) leader Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami on Thursday said the attack on the son of a famous restaurant owner in Srinagar is highly condemnable and such incidents have no place in the civilized world.

“Attacking civilians by the combatants is an act of cowardice and must be condemned by all in one voice. Attacking and killing civilians can never be a solution to any problem as violence is never an answer to any problem,” Mr Tarigami said.

“I express solidarity with the victim family and hope the injured civilian makes a complete and speedy recovery,” he added.

Suspected militants fired at and wounded Akash Mehra , son of Ramesh Kumar Mehra, who is owner of Krishna Dabba, outside their restaurant in Sonwar in Srinagar at around 1935 hrs on Wednesday.
