Jaisalmer Desert Festival 2021 shows you the traditional culture of Rajasthan, with folk tunes. Visitors from all over the world come here. It will last for three days. Jaisalmer District Collector Ashish Modi said on Monday that Rajasthan's four-day international annual Maru Maru Festival will begin on February 25 and will be broadcast live on the online platform.
He further said that the festival will have interesting events of mustache and turban tying competitions as well as music and cultural events.
Modi appealed to the residents of the district to decorate their houses and make 'Rangoli' in front of their houses during the festival. He said that the owners of the best-decorated houses would be honored by the administration.
The official said that "Maru Mahotsav-2121" will be telecast live on YouTube.
Modi said that digital walls will be installed at railway stations, airports, and other places in the city to inform tourists about daily events on the festival.
