Stock market update: Realty stocks mixed; Prestige Estates jumps over 5%

NEW DELHI: Realty stocks were trading on a mixed note at 02:40PM (IST) on Thursday.

Shares of Prestige Estates Projects (up 5.51 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 2.13 per cent), Sobha (up 1.44 per cent) and Omaxe (up 0.21 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While DLF (down 1.76 per cent), Phoenix Mills (down 1.66 per cent), Oberoi Realty (down 1.23 per cent), Sunteck Realty (down 0.22 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (down 0.21 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.37 per cent down at 353.2 around 02:40PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 69.35 points at 15139.55, while the BSE Sensex was down 321.58 points at 51382.25.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 25 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red.

Shares of PNB, Bank of Baroda, Vodafone Idea, YES Bank and Central Bank of India were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Central Bank of India, The New India Assurance, IOB, Hindustan Copper and NBCC hit their fresh 52 week high in today's trade, while hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
