Cardi B celebrated the success of her latest single Up, thanking fans for their support.

Up debuted at number two on the US Singles Chart, giving Cardi her ninth top 10 single of her career, according to NME

Sharing a photo on Wednesday of the top 10 songs on the Billboard chart (with Up at number two), Cardi wrote: "I want to say thank you to all my fans and supporters this is BIG for me. I wanted to beat my last solo single number & I over succeeded."

The star also pointed out that this is the first time a female rapper has debuted in the top five since Lauryn Hill's Doo Wap (That Thing) in 1998. "This is pop girl shit but I'm not pop," she added.

Right now, Olivia Rodrigo's drivers license still holds the number one spot on the US chart. Should Up dethrone Olivia in the coming weeks, it will become Cardi's fifth US number one single.
