In a touching tribute to her best friend Reeva Steenkamp, celebrity makeup artist Gina Myers wrote in an Instagram post: "I think of her every damn day."
Reeva was shot dead by her boyfriend, Oscar Pistorius on 14 February 2013.
The Supreme Court of Appeal in November 2017 sentenced the former professional sprinter to 13 years and five months imprisonment for the murder.
But the court failed to backdate the sentencing to 6 July 2016, which was when Oscar started serving his initial six-year murder sentence. It has now corrected its ruling.
In previous interviews, Gina has described Reeva as being "like a sister". Reeva stayed with the Myers family for six months before she was murdered. They had been friends for six years prior to Reeva's death.
Speaking to Huisgenoot, Gina said she helped Reeva get ready for her first date with Oscar - three months before she was killed.
Gina, who usually dedicates a social media post to her friend on Valentine's Day, wrote in an Instagram post on Wednesday: "I never did a post this Valentine's Day. My heart has been feeling many things. And I did not have any words or thoughts to write. To be honest I still don't. But I think of her every damn day."
"I'm trying to have my own love days. And push through a lot of emotions. Grateful and thankful. But emotional and working hard to always be better. She taught me that," she added.
Gina, who recently purchased a new Mini Cooper, also shared a sweet memory with her followers, saying: "Decided to give myself some extra love, after saying goodbye to my first Alfi." Alfi was also the nickname Gina had for Reeva.
"Reeva used to try [to] convince me to get one of these. And 2 days before Valentine's Day, Alfi the 2nd was delivered, with a little feather waiting just outside," she said.
