After seeing the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, I was instantly mesmerised. Apart from being the flagship Samsung smartphone in 2021, it is the most well-designed devices I have come across in years.
With a starting price of Rs. 1.05 lakh this smartphone comes in an uber-cool matte black finish, making it one of the most understated yet premium devices on the market.
In front of the smartphone, you’ll see a punch-hole camera placed at the top of the screen and at the back a quad-camera setup seamlessly blends into the device’s glossy side strip.
The near bezel-less high-resolution display draws you in and lets you experience its beautiful colour reproduction and high refresh rate.
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is a looker, and despite its stealth black colour, it stands out from every other premium smartphone in this category.

Powering this world-class smartphone are equally impressive specs, the smartphone features a 6.8 inch dynamic AMOLED display featuring a maximum resolution of 1440p and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The S21 Ultra uses an always-ON display protected using a Corning Gorilla glass Victus.
One of the main highlights of the Samsung S21 ultra is the quad-camera unit. The 108 MP wide lens is capable of amazing shots with superb detail. It is paired with a 10 MP periscope telephoto, another 10 MP telephoto and a 12 MP ultra-wide lens.
Using this camera, you can shoot videos in 8k, an awe-inspiring feat. Furthermore, the 100x space zoom allows you to take shots of faraway objects. I found the 30x zoom to be the most effective at retaining clarity while shooting distant objects, but it is nice to have a superzoom feature.
The shots taken from this phone have a lot of clarity, and the colour reproduction is mostly natural. The camera is also very steady while taking shots which helps you immensely whenever you want to click a pic.
Moving from the camera and onto the processor, the Galaxy S21 Ultra features an Exynos 2100 SoC, which is as fast as the Snapdragon 888 in CPU performance but falls behind in terms of graphics processing.
I personally think that Exynos 2100 is powerful enough for modern mobile games like Genshin Impact, Call of Duty Mobile etc. I tested these games, and both of them maintained a constant frame rate throughout my half an hour gameplay.
One really cool feature I like on this phone is the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, making it one of the most secure devices on the market.
Keeping this beast of a smartphone running is a 5,000 mAh battery that lasts more than the entire day or less if you use it at full brightness and 1440p resolution. Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra supports 25-watt fast charging but does not come with a charger in the box.
The Final First Impressions
To make the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra extra special and better from the competition, it comes with state of the art features like an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, an all-metal chassis, a near bezel-less display and a matte finish to die for.
We have only begun to test what the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is capable of, and so far we’re bloody impressed.
