A new Ed Sheeran Album? Yes, please!
The Thinking Out Loud singer hinted at the possibility of a new album in 2021, and we cannot contain our excitement.
Celebrating his 30th birthday on Wednesday, Ed shared a picture of a cake on Instagram alongside a photo of himself at three years old dressed as a pirate.
"30 today. Thank you for all your wonderful messages, I feel very loved. Currently dressed the same as I was on my 3rd birthday about to chow down on Colin the pirate caterpillar, poor bloke," he wrote.
"I'll be back online with the 4th instalment in the series later this year, until then xx," the singer ended the message.
Ed has released three studio albums so far - Plus (2011), Multiply (2014) and Divide (2017). You know what comes next, right?
"OMG SUBTRACT IS COMING," one excited fan wrote in the comments section of the post.
The news of a possible album comes after Ed dropped his Afterglow in December 2020. The star dedicated the song to fans. But before anyone could jump to conclusions, Ed made it clear that the song was not the first single from a new album.
