Biennial polls to five seats of Andhra Pradesh Council on March 15: ECI

New Delhi, Feb 18 (UNI) The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Thursday announced biennial elections to five seats of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council on March 15.

The term of five members of the Council is expiring on March 29, 2021.

The notification will be issued on February 25 while the polling will be held on March 15, Monday, from 0900hrs to 1600 hrs with Covid-19 protocols in place.

The counting will take place from 1700hrs on the same day, the ECI said.

The five members include Gundumala Thippe Swamy,Gummidi Sandhya Rani,Vattikuti Veera Venkanna Chowdary,Shaik Mohammed Iqbal and Subhaschandra Bose Pilli.
