MUMBAI: Maharashtra water resources minister Jayant Patil on Thursday said he has tested positive for Covid19.
"I have tested COVID positive. Whilst I am doing fine, I am taking appropriate medical advice and hope to recover soon. I shall be undertaking my duties via video-conference.
I request those who have come in contact with me recently to be observant and self-isolate," said Patil on Twitter.

Just a few days ago, home minister Anil Deshmukh had tested positive for the virus. He is currently under treatment.
Over 20 ministers in the Mahavikas Aaghadi government have tested positive since the outbreak in March. All of them have recovered and have resumed work.
