LIVE market updates: The Indian benchmark indices slid in Thursday's late morning deals amid selling in private bank counters, ahead of the weekly options expiry.
Among the headline indices, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 250 points at 51,430 levels and the Nifty50 fell below the 15,200-mark. ONGC gained 3 per cent and was the top Sensex gainer, followed by State Bank of India which rose 2 per cent. On the other hand, iCICI Bank and Bajaj Finance fell over 1 per cent, each.
The Nifty sectoral indices traded mixed, with the Nifty PSU Bank index, up 5 per cent, leading the gainers.

Results today
Ambuja Cements, Enkei Wheels, RCL Retail, Rollatainers and Twinstar Industries are scheduled to announce their quarterly earnings today.
