Coming into the auction with Rs 10.75 crore in their wallet, SRH just bought three players. However, Afghan spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Indian middle-order batsman Kedar Jadhav can turn out to be good buys. Mujeeb is a genuine wicket-taking option in the middle overs while Jadhav’s all-round abilities with the bat and ball will come in handy. Jagadeesha Suchith for Rs 30 lakh can also be a great acquisition.
SRH had retained their core group of players ahead of the auction and therefore were not under any compulsion to buy big. In David Warner and Kane Williamson they have a solid top order. Sandeep Sharma, T Natarajan and Jason Holder form a formidable pace battery. Their spin bowling department also looks sorted out, with the likes of Rashid Khan and Shahbaz Nadeem already in their ranks and now Mujeeb joining them.
SRH have now bought Afghanistan off-break bowler Mujeeb Ur Rahman for Rs 1.50 crore. Mujeeb can be a tricky bowler to play in the middle overs. He has the ability to be economical with the ball and pick wickets at crucial intervals. This can be a great acquisition by SRH.

SRH have acquired Indian middle-order batsman Kedar Jadhav for Rs 2 crore. The hard-hitting batsman, who has a lot of experience on his side, will be a valuable addition to the Hyderabad side. His ability to clear the boundaries at ease, unconventional technique and part-time spin bowling will come in handy for SRH.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have bought Jagadeesha Suchith for Rs 30 lakh. The left-arm spinner was a part of the Mumbai Indians franchise when they won their first IPL title. In that 2015 season, he had taken 10 wickets in 13 matches. He can also make an impression with the bat, having slammed the fastest fifty of the season in the Karnataka Premier League in 2016. The Hyderabad franchise had started the auction day with Rs 10.75 crore in their wallet.
