No new Covid case reported in Arunachal

Itanagar, Feb 17 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh has not reported any new Covid case in the last 24 hours, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services.

While the recovery tally remained the same at 16,774 as no patient was discharged. The recovery rate is over 99.64 percent.

Active cases stood at three.

State has recorded 16,833 Covid cases so far. Death toll at 56.

COVID-19: Sikkim records 3 new Corona cases,157 to receive second vaccine dose

Gangtok, Feb 17 (UNI) Sikkim recorded three new Corona positive cases, taking the active cases in the state to 56
Out of total 6121 cases registered so far 5834 have been discharged on recovery, said Sonam Bhutia, IEC member.
Since there were no deaths, the total death toll remained at 135, he added.

Nagaland opposition leader on Naga issue

Kohima, Feb 16 (UNI) Nagaland Leader of the Opposition T R Zeliang today said 'Naga political issue is not about who is right but what is right for the Nagas’ as for decades “we have struggled to find an amicable and early solution which is the desire and aspiration of all Nagas spread across four Indian States and two Nations.”
Participating in the discussion on the Naga political issue at the 7th session of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly Zeliang said 'Naga political issue Zeliang stated that every group and every Naga leader desire the best for the Nagas and in this regard, they have all toiled and given their all for the cause of the Nagas. He added that there is no denying that there is an apparent gap between the Naga negotiating groups and as such as elected representatives of the people and facilitators have a big role to play in bridging the gap and differences between them.
