The electric bus will soon run in Rajasthan. These charging stations have been set up in Jaipur and Delhi. Stations will also be built in the mid-way. Bikaner House will also start with electric buses. These buses are coming with the support of the Government of India. The Chief Minister is taking initiative in their successful operation.
Transport Minister Pratap Singh Khachariwas said this during a meeting with all the regional and district transport officials through video conferencing from the Transport Department on Tuesday.
During this, he said that a big policy is being brought for buses to be operated on all the routes of Rajasthan. The policy is being decided at the Chief Minister level. This will bring transparency in the department as well as tighten the screws on corruption. By this, every route will get means. The Chief Minister has also been requested to make a policy provision in the budget for this financial year.
In the meeting, while reviewing the revenue acquisition, Pratap Singh Khachariwas instructed the RTO and DTO to take recovery action by campaigning against the vehicles running without paying tax. Standing in the yard of vehicle financing companies, look for vehicles that have not paid tax. Tax should also be collected from there.
