LUCKNOW: On the inaugural day of the Abhyudaya scheme, more than 2,000 exam aspirants joined the physical session of free coaching classes organized by the state government.
The first batch of 2,046 candidates has been divided into six sections. They will attend sessions/classes for the upcoming UPSC pre-examination, NEET, JEE, NDA and CDS at Lucknow University and IET.
On their first day, the aspirants were briefed by divisional commissioner Ranjan Kumar who shared the academic calendar and motivated the candidates to utilize the government funded opportunity.
“We have arranged two sessions: 8am to 9.30am and 4pm to 5.30pm. The students will be taught by university and college professors. In case any students fails to attend class, they can access the recorded session on YouTube,” he said.
