Stock market update: Realty stocks down; Indiabulls Real Estate sheds 3%

NEW DELHI: Realty stocks were trading on a negative note at 03:09PM (IST) on Wednesday.

Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate (down 3.17 per cent), Godrej Properties (down 1.32 per cent), Oberoi Realty (down 1.19 per cent), DLF (down 1.16 per cent) and Sunteck Realty (down 0.67 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

While Prestige Estates Projects (up 3.9 per cent), Sobha (up 0.96 per cent), Omaxe (up 0.56 per cent) and Phoenix Mills (up 0.24 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.64 per cent down at 354.5 around 03:09PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 105.00 points at 15208.45, while the BSE Sensex was down 396.12 points at 51708.05.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 18 were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red.

Shares of PNB, Vodafone Idea, Central Bank Ind, IOB and Bank of India were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Happiest Minds, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, IOB and Sterlite Tech hit their fresh 52week high in today's trade, while Vera Synthetic Ltd., Jiya Eco Products Ltd., Sanwaria Consumer Ltd., We Win Ltd. and Shri Ram Switchgears Ltd. hit fresh 52week low in trade.
