Asian Paints has rolled out a film featuring brand ambassador Ranbir Kapoor for its range of Ultima Protek paint.
The film conceptualised by Ogilvy shows Kapoor playing a double role. One role shows him as an elderly man. He takes his niece around a village, looking to find her a match. All the houses are covered with plastic because owners look to protect themselves from the rain and dust. She finally lands up at one house which isn't laminated or protected. This one is owned by the young Kapoor who states that his house has lamination guard technology thanks to Ultima Protek. The girl is impressed and the uncle states she'll get married in that house.
Sukesh Nayak, chief creative officer, Ogilvy Mumbai, said, “To show all you need to do is laminate your home to keep it safe, we have Ranbir Kapoor in a double role. Old Ranbir playing a matchmaker to help a young girl find her perfect match. She finally finds her match in young Ranbir living in the house of her dreams, laminated and protected by Ultima Protek from Asian Paints.”
