Portuguese govt proposes health protection measures for 5G auction

The Portuguese government has sent a letter to the National Communications Authority (Anacom), to which Economica Online had access, recommending that the regulator take the necessary measures to protect the health of those participating in the auction. Previously, Anacom refused the telecom operators' request to postpone the 5G auction because of the pandemic and public health risks, suggesting they should organize themselves in order to mitigate the risk of transmission of the new coronavirus.
