Indo-US ties: Is India ready to plunge deeper into Quad waters?

It’s becoming clear the US wants to move quickly towards operationalising the Quad as one of the key policy initiatives to deter China. That’s been the underlying message in the initial contacts between Washington and New Delhi. Early indications are that Quad will remain the main plank and the ‘foundation’ of the Indo-Pacific policy for President Joe Biden. Funny business of calling it ‘Asia-Pacific’, or changing the terminology of ‘free and
