Serena Williams Wins Latest Match as Her Husband Cheers Her On (Wearing That Now Viral T-Shirt!)

Serena Williams celebrates as she beats Simona Halep in the quarterfinals of the 2021 Austrlian Open on Tuesday (February 16) in Melbourne, Australia.

Watching the legendary tennis star win the match were her husband Alexis Ohanian, older sister Venus Williams, and several other members of her team.

After Serena‘s amazing win, all eyes fell to Alexis‘ t-shirt and what was written on the front. The t-shirt read, “Greatest Female Athlete,” with the word female crossed out to read “Greatest Athlete.” Serena has 23 grand slam titles and is going for her 24th in this tournament. This is the most titles by any tennis player since the big tournaments were introduced.

Serena will next play in the US Open semi-final against Naomi Osaka.

This will not be the first time that Naomi and Serena play against each other.
