Brazilian operators have 15 days to explain data leak to Justice Ministry

The Department of Consumer Protection and Defence of Brazil's Ministry of Justice and Public Safety has ordered mobile operators to provide information about the data leak affecting 103 million mobile accounts, reports Jornal Nacional. It said Claro, Oi, TIM and Vivo have fifteen days to respond. The operators said they adopt strict controls on access to customer information, that they have not identified any occurrence of data leakage, and that they are collaborating with the authorities.
