IPL 2021 Auction: Star Sports shares promo ahead of mini-auction featuring Irfan Pathan, Gautam Gambhir| Watch video- The official broadcaster of Indian Premier League Star Sports on Tuesday shared the promotional video of IPL 2021 auctions, days ahead of the mini-auction slated to take place in Chennai on February 18. The 30-second video shows former cricketer stars Gautam Gambhir, Irfan Pathan talk about big names in the IPL– Steve Smith, Jason Roy, Sheldon Cottrell, Shivam Dube, Moeen Ali, Glenn Maxwell, Aaron Finch, Chris Morris, Mujeeb-Ur-Rahman, Karun Nair– before they get tired going through the long list of 292 players shortlisted for the IPL 2021 auction.

The duo has been working with Star Sports for last few years and are seen in Hindi pre, mid and post-match shows of the IPL alongside show host Jatin Sapru.
More than 1,000 players had registered their names for the IPL 2021 auctions but only 292 players have been selected ahead of the draft in Chennai. All the IPL franchises– Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals, Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) and Kolkata Knight Riders– will eye to buy crucial players in their bid to win the IPL 2021 title.
