Varun Beverages Q4 net loss narrows to one-third at Rs-19.73cr on lower input costs

Varun Beverages reported 9.02% steady growth in total revenues for the Dec-20 quarter on consolidated basis at Rs1,351.34cr. However, the total sales of its core beverages product line were sharply lower compared to the sequential quarter of Sep-20.


The consolidated net loss for the Dec-20 quarter narrowed to almost one-third at Rs19.73cr compared to a net loss of Rs59.31cr in the year ago period. The sharp fall in the net loss was on account of lower material costs as well as lower finance charges in the Dec-20 quarter.
