Unisync Corp Q1 FY21 sales rise to $25 mn

Unisync Corp, a Canadian provider of work wear and personal protective apparel, has reported 31 per cent sales growth to $25.1 million (Canadian dollars) in its first quarter (Q1) FY21 ended on December 31, 2020, compared to sales of $27.0 million in same period previous fiscal. Company’s net income for the quarter was $0.76 million (Q1 FY20: $0.89 million).
 
Adjusted EBITDA was $2.7 million ($1.7 million).
 
Company reported that UGL segment revenue was down to $20.2 million ($22.5 million). While Peerless segment revenue grew to $5.2 million ($4.5 million).
 
In its outlook, company stated that the company expects increased revenues from new accounts being brought onboard in both Canada and the US. It will also continue to take advantage of opportunities in the PPE space with a number of responses to large PPE bid requests still outstanding.
