Boulder police investigating suspicious activities at CU Boulder student housing

Feb. 16—Boulder police are asking the community to help identify a person seen taping suspicious envelopes on several doors of Greek houses near the University of Colorado Boulder.

In a news release, Boulder Public Safety spokeswoman Dionne Waugh stated the department is seeking to identify the person seen on surveillance video taping the white envelopes to the doors to several fraternity and sorority houses about 1:30 a.m. Monday.

Waugh wrote that members of at least five houses reported receiving an envelope.

Each envelope contained a CD that was recorded with audio, some of which was from the television show Criminal Minds.

Waugh wrote police are still investigating if criminal charges would apply to the incidents.
