WA Police charge Victorian woman with failing to self-quarantine

A Victorian woman is behind bars after she was charged with failing to comply with a direction to self-isolate and refused bail.

Ashlee Marie Jackson, 22, arrived in Western Australia on February 7 and was required to self-quarantine for 14 days.

WA Police allege that around 1.25pm on Sunday February 14, she left her self-quarantine location, sparking a search.

The woman has been charged with three counts of Failed to Comply with a Direction and will appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
