Fire at multi-storey building in Kolkata’s Baghbazar, three fire tenders rushed

Barely two weeks have passed since the devastating fire that broke out in north Kolkata`s Baghbazar, that created immense devastation to the people residing behind Maa r Baari or Mother`s House (Maa Sharada Devi), another fire broke out at a multi-storeyed house located in the Baghbazar area of Kolkata at around 1:30 pm on Monday.

Three fire engines reached the spot soon after the fire was reported. People in the area remain tense as the affected house is located in a narrow lane.

Firemen at the sport are still trying to extinguish the fire. It may be noted that there are no residents in the multi-storeyed house. Besides the firefighters, a police team has also reached the spot.
