Hoping to put in a good start to their second innings, England need over 450 runs against India, on Day 3 of the ongoing second Test match, at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Ravichandran Ashwin slammed 106 runs, to wrap up India's second innings at 286 after 85.5 overs. Ashwin's knock consisted of 14 fours and a six. The hosts lost some quick wickets in the early stages of Day 3, but Ashwin and Virat Kohli built a steady partnership. Kohli registered a half-century. Ashwin built on his momentum, and continued adding more runs to the scoreboard, and lost his wicket after the Tea break. Ashwin's dismissal also ended India's innings. Jack Leach and Moeen Ali took four wickets each for England, meanwhile Olly Stone registered a dismissal.
