
Chamoli: The official death toll in the Uttarakhand deluge crossed 50 Sunday after 13 more bodies were recovered at the Tapovan-Vishnugad and Rishi Ganga hydroelectric power projects sites in Chamoli district.
“We are trying to locate the bodies in different locations, including the riverside and river banks. We are doing this with the help of drones in the suspected sites,” said a spokesperson for the National Disaster Response Force, which has been aiding the rescue operations.
