Chief Minister approves to set up HC bench in Dumka

Ranchi, Feb 15 (UNI) Chief Minister Hemant Soren has approved a proposal to set up a bench of Jharkhand High Court in Dumka.
An official release issued here on Monday said that apart from Ranchi in none of the districts of Jharkhand any bench of the High Court is functioning.
To establish the bench of High Court in Dumka the than Chief Secretary had directed that building construction department to identify the land.
Further, the law department had also written to the Union Law Ministry and the Supreme Court to decide the jurisdiction of the Dumka bench of the High Court.
