As we start a new decade, equity investors face tough choices. The decade gone by (2011-2020) presented investors with a wide range of challenges while also affording multiple opportunities for creating wealth. In contrast to the previous decade 2001-2010—marked by high rate of capital formation—the last decade was characterised by deleveraging. Companies shifted towards an asset-light model and tightened their purse strings. Corporate
