Mobile video callers up 50% globally to 1.8 bln in 2020

The number of users of mobile video calling services grew 50 percent year-on-year to 1.8 billion globally in 2020, as the Covid-19 pandemic fueled the need for remote communication services, according to a new study from Juniper Research.  The researchers expect the number of mobile video callers will continue to increase, to 4.5 billion users by 2025, representing 50 percent of global mobile subscribers.
