India vs England 2nd Test Day 2 Live Cricket Score Online Updates:ย  Off-spinner R Ashwin returned yet another five-wicket haul as India bundled out England for 134 to take a huge first inning lead of 195 on the second day of the second Test, on Sunday. India had resumed at overnight score of 300 for six and managed 329 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, losing the remaining four wickets in quick time.

Led by Ashwin (5/43) the Indian attack a much better than job than the first Test. Pacer Ishant Sharma (2/22) and left-arm spinner Axar Patel (2/40) took tow wickets apiece. Ben Foakes batted with determination to resists the India attack. He remained unbeaten at 42.

Earlier, India scored 329 in their first innings, having resumed their batting on Day 2 from a score 300/6. Rishabh Pant remained stranded on 58* as all the wickets fell at his opposite end. Rohit Sharma hit a masterful hundred while Ajinkya Rahane scored a sublime half-century to put India in a commanding position on the opening day of the second cricket Test against England, in Chennai on Saturday.ย Rohit smashed 17 boundaries and two sixes in his breathtaking innings of 161. Opting to bat on a turning Chepauk track, India lost three wickets in the opening session in the form of opener Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara and skipper Virat Kohli. While early wickets brought hope, late strikes brought relief for England. With runs on the board, India take the opening advantage on a tricky pitch.
