Aurangabad, Feb 13 (UNI) The state government has made changes in several rules of the Transferable Development Rights (TDR) and the Floor Space Index (FSI) policy, to prevent unauthorised plotting and construction, state Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde said here on Saturday.
Addressing the newspersons after holding a review meeting of development, Mr Shinde said the state government has taken a number of historic and important decisions in implementing the new policy, which will fulfill the dream of the common man for a house.

This will put pressure on those, who do unauthorised plotting as well as those, who do illegal construction, said Mr Shinde.
He said the change in TDR and FSI policy would also limit the number of slums growing illegally in the state.
The Mahavikas Aghadi government, which has been in power in the state for the last one-and-a-half years, has taken several important decisions in the interest of people of the state.
He said that even during the Corona crisis, the Mahavikas Aghadi government has solved many problems of development and the general public has faith in MVA, which is why the grand alliance has achieved great success in the recent Gram Panchayat elections.
