Ambala: Reacting to the statements of the Indian National Congress (INC) leader Rahul Gandhi, Haryana home and health minister Anil Vij on Friday said he was working to demoralise the armed forces and speaking like a spokesman of China.
Anil Vij made two Tweets about Rahul Gandhi on Friday.
In his first Tweet, Vij said, “Rahul Gandhi has said about the Central government that it is the government of ‘hum do humare do’, perhaps Rahul Gandhi does not know that ‘hum do humare do’ slogan was given by his grandmother Indira Gandhi. Our slogan is ‘sabka sath sabka vikas’. He does not know the history of his own family.”
In the second Tweet, Vij said, “Rahul termed the retreat of China and the Indian Army as a failure of the government. He repeatedly humiliates the country and demoralises our military and military power. From what he speaks, it seems that rather than being a citizen of India, he is a spokesperson of China.”
When contacted by the mediapersons, Anil Vij, at his residence in Ambala on Friday, said, “The type of statements given by him time and again seems that instead of being a Hindustani, he is a supporter of China.”
Reacting to his statement of terming Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a coward, Vij said, “Narendra Modi is a sher (lion) and he taught a lesson to Pakistan in their territory and now the agreement that has been reached with China due to which the Armies are retreating in Ladakh, is also historic.”
