Representative Image. NEW DELHI: Public Service Commission, West Bengal has invited applications from Indian citizens for recruitment of Fishery Extention Officer under West Bengal Junior Fisheries Service Grade-II.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online starting from February 24, 2021 through the official website - https://wbpsc.gov.in/.
Candidates should note that the submission of more than one application for one particular post is strictly forbidden. The candidature of a candidate who submits more than one application for admission to the selection procedure, will be cancelled even if he/she is admitted to the same.

WB PSC Fishery Extention Officer Recruitment 2021: Qualification
(a) Must have Four Year Bachelor's Degree in Fishery Science from a recognized University.
(b) Must have knowledge of Fisheries, Aquaculture, Aquatic Resources and Fishing Harbour in West Bengal.
(c) Must be able to read and write Bengali or Nepali.
WB PSC Fishery Extention Officer Recruitment 2021: Age Limt
Not more than 39 years on 01.01.2021. Upper age limit shall be relaxable for persons holding substantive appointment under the Govt. of West Bengal or Govt. of India and also for exceptionally well qualified and experienced candidates.
WB PSC Fishery Extention Officer Recruitment 2021: Application Fee
Rs. 160/-(Rupees one hundred sixty) only
Note: A selected candidate shall, before being deputed to training, execute a bond under taking to serve the Government of West Bengal for a period of 5(five) years, if required, or to take up for similar period other employment on comparable terms and conditions, if offered to him by the Government on completion of his course of departmental training and in the event of non-fulfillment of these conditions, to refund to Government all costs incurred by the Government in connection with this training.

The Commission will however have the liberty of further relaxing the qualifying marks, if any of the reserved category posts remain unfilled owing to imposition of such qualifying mark.
