You could have charted the course of their relationship by them: “You, me, heavenly”; “Let’s go to beddy, Eddie!“; “Miss you already, Lozzy”; “Good luck with the presentation, hon”; “Take the chops out of the freezer, E”; “Out with the lads, Loz, don’t wait up”; “It’s not what you said, it’s how you said it”; “By the way, Ed, you’re a supercilious prick (look it up)“; “You’re turning into a c…, Loz. Like your mum.”
Then, finally: “These are the divorce papers. Sign them.”
