HYDERABAD: A total of 143 new
Covid-19 infections and one death were recorded in Telangana on Friday, taking the overall toll to 1,614.
There are as many as 1,815 patients under treatment but with improving recovery rate in the state which has now touched 98.84 per cent.
So far, a total of 82,42,105 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the state out of which 2,96,277 have tested positive and 2,92,848 persons have recovered.
In the data released by the health department officials on Friday, 28,337 Covid tests were conducted in the state while reports of another 679 samples were awaited.
The data also shows that a total of 152 persons recovered on Friday.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation limits saw 27 new cases followed by 11 new cases in Rangareddy district and 10 cases in Medchal Malkajgiri district.
