Bhikhiwind Tehsildar suspended as he was absent from election duty

Chandigarh, Feb 12 (UNI) The services of Tehsildar Bhikhiwind has been placed under suspension with immediate effect as he was absent during election duty.
Stating this here on Friday, a spokesperson of the State Election Commission said Lakhwinder Singh, Tehsildar of Bhikhiwind in Tarn Taran district, was deliberately absent from his duty during municipal elections due to which he had been suspended with immediate effect.
