Untimely demise of (L) Kshetrimayum Borish, student at IISER, Pune on 01st November 2020
Condolence
With a heavy heart, I beg to share this sad news and untimely demise of (L) Kshetrimayum Borish Singh S/o Ksh Gulapi Singh & Ksh Nungshitombi Devi of Kakching Turel Wangma, presently staying at the Patsoi part-I.
Mr. Borish was pursuing for his doctoral degree (Ph.D) in Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune since 2016. He was struggling for life at the Jupiter hospital bed since 28th October, 2020 & very shockingly, he has succumbed to his illness and left all of us for heavenly abode on Friday, the 30th October 2020 (05:24pm). We are deeply shocked and saddened by his untimely demise.
To show our deep sorrow, love and respect to the departed soul, the Executive Members and other members of the Association of Manipuri Diaspora (AMAND), Pune gathered at the IISER Pune cricket ground along with the students and staff members of IISER Pune on Sunday, the 1st Nov 2020.
The gathering observed two minutes silence exactly at 5.24pm amidst the candle lights to convey our deep and heartfelt condolences and prayed to the Divine Almighty to rest his departed soul in peace. The gathering also mourned deeply with the bereaved parents at this time of irreparable lost.

Two research scholars from IISER, Pune Mr Prakash & Mr. Satish who are close friends of (L) Borish briefed about how it stared his sickness till he passed away. Dr. H. Narendra Singh, Hon’ble President, AMAND Pune and Er. N. Giridhar Singh Vice President AMAND Pune expressed their heartfelt condolences to the gathering. The condolence gathering was concluded with a short note by Prof. Jayant B. Udgaonkar, Director, IISER, Pune.
AMAND, Pune prayed to give strength and courage to the parents to overcome this difficult situation. Each one of us joins the family and relatives in praying for the departed soul to remain in eternal peace with Thee, forever in heaven.
AMAND, Pune cordially sends the message to the members of the bereaved family as -
“Be strong and let him live in your sweet memories. Our thoughts and cooperation are always with you and your family at this most difficult time. Remember all the good times you saw his bright smile as he will be forever looking down upon you on your journey through life. May the care & love of those around you provide comfort and peace to get you through the days ahead”.
