NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm exiting the East Coast will bring lingering rain to
the Carolinas and Georgia tomorrow morning. In colder air
farther north, freezing rain will be possible in southern
Virginia. Farther west, the next system is expected to bring
a soaking rain to Louisiana and central and southern parts
of Mississippi and Alabama. Freezing rain may cause a glaze
of ice in northern Mississippi and far southern Arkansas. A
large swath of snow will blanket western Washington,
northwestern Oregon, central Idaho, much of Wyoming, western
Colorado, much of Nebraska and northern Kansas. High
temperatures below zero will continue in North Dakota,
central and eastern Montana and northern parts of Wyoming,
South Dakota and Minnesota. Highs in the single digits are
expected as far south as northern Kansas.
