SLT Group's profit grows 25%, revenue up 6% in 2020

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) Group saw its profit after tax grow 25 percent year-on-year to LKR 7.9 billion in the financial year 2020, despite many challenges generated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Group revenue climbed 6 percent to LKR 91.1 billion for the year, boosted by higher broadband revenue propelled by fibre expansion and growth in mobile broadband services. Revenue for PEOTV and carrier services also increased during the year.
