On one hand, she is shooting for the season two of The Family Man, starring Manoj Bajpayee, on the other hand, she is gearing up for her upcoming Tamil film Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal. And it seems like Samantha is unable to contain her excitement to feature in the film alongside Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Sharing a new poster of her upcoming film, Samantha said that she is having a ball shooting the film with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. She also revealed that the half of the shoot has been completed and she is pretty much sure that it is going to be a riot on the big screen. "I’ve always wanted to work with the fierce #Nayantara and the mighty @actorvijaysethupathi ?.. so I can’t tell you how much of a ball I am having working with the both of them together #kaathuvaakularendukaadhal .. Midway through shoot and I can safely say this one is going to be a riot ❤️ @wikkiofficial you rocking this party," Samantha wrote on Instagram. In Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal, Nayanthara and Samantha Akkineni will be battling it out for actor Vijay Sethupathi's attention. This will be the first time Nayanthara and Samantha will be seen sharing screen space. This will also be for the first time where the Theri actress will be teaming up with Vijay. It will be helmed by Nayanthara's beau Vignesh Shivan. It is also for the second time where Vignesh, Vijay and Nayanthara are teaming up for a film. Samantha, who is married to Telugu superstar Nagarjuna's son, actor Naga Chaitanya, uses social media to update fans about her professional life. During lockdown, she used the platform to keep fans posted about her activities, and how she was coping up.
The actress is all set to appear in season two of The Family Man, starring Manoj Bajpayee. The upcoming season also features Sharad Kelkar along with Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Darshan Kumaar, Sunny Hinduja, Shreya Dhanwantary, Shahab Ali, Vedant Sinha and Mahek Thakur.
