Global tally of corona infects crosses 10.73 crore

Washington, 11 Feb (UNI) More than 10.73 crore people have been affected by the corona virus (COVID-19) epidemic in the world, while more than six crore have been cured from this disease and more than 23.54 lakh people have died.

According to data released by the Center for Science and Engineering (CSSE) of America's John Hopkins University, the number of corona infections in 192 countries of the world has increased to 10.73 crore and 23 lakh 54 thousand 421 peopel have died.

In US the number of infected has exceeded to 2.72 crore, while about 4,71,425 patients have died.

After the arrival of 12,923 new cases in India, the number of infected people has increased to one crore eight lakh 71 thousand 294. During this period, 11,764 patients became healthy, with which the number of people who are coronated has increased to one crore five lakh 73 thousand 372. The number of active cases increased to1,42,562. During this period 108 patients died and the death toll rose to one lakh 55 thousand 360.

More than 96.59 lakh people have been affected by Corona virus in Brazil and 234,850 patients have died due to this epidemic. In Britain, the number of corona infections has exceeded 39.96 lakhs and 115,068 people have died.

The number of corona-infected people in Russia has crossed 39.68 lakh, while 76,873 people have died. The number of Corona infectives in France has crossed 34.44 lakh and 80,591 patients have died.

So far more than 30.23 lakh people have been affected by this epidemic in Spain and 63,704 people have died. In Italy, the number of infected has crossed 26.68 lakhs and 92,338 people have died, about 25.56 lakh people have been affected by the Covid-19 in Turkey and 27,093 have been absorbed in the cheek of the era.

In Germany, the number of people affected by the virus has increased to 23.11 lakh and 63,672 people have died. More than 21.73 lakh people have been affected by this deadly virus in Colombia and 56,733 people have lost their lives.

In Argentina, more than 20.01 lakh people have been affected by Covid-19 and 49,674 people have died. More than 19.57 lakh people have been infected with Corona in Mexico and 169,760 people have died. In Poland, more than 15.63 lakh cases of infection have been reported and 39,721 people have died. So far, about 14.89 lakh people have been infected by the epidemic in Iran and 58,686 people have died.

The number of corona infects in South Africa has crossed 14.82 lakhs and 47,145 people have died in the cheek of time. In Ukraine more than 12.97 lakh people have been affected by this virus while 25,195 people have died. In Peru, the number of infected with the virus has crossed 11.96 lakh and 42,626 people have died.

More than 11.83 lakh people have been affected by the corona in Indonesia and the death toll has reached 32,167. In the Czech Republic, more than 10.55 lakh people have been affected by Corona and 17,642 people have died. The number of corona victims in the Netherlands has exceeded 10.27 lakhs and 14,710 people have died. In Canada, the number of people infected with the virus has so far crossed 8.18 lakh and 21,007 people have died. More than 7.74 lakh people have been affected by this epidemic in Portugal and 14,718 people have lost their lives.

More than 7.60 lakh people have been affected by Covid-19 in Chile and 19,105 people have lost their lives. More than 7.52 lakh people have been infected with Corona in Romania while 19,135 people have died.

In Belgium, the number of infected has reached about 7.31 lakh, while 21,512 people have died. In Israel, the number of infected has exceeded 7.09 lakh, while the number of dead has reached 5,257. The number of infected in Iraq has crossed 6.34 lakhs and the death toll has reached 13,140.

In Sweden, the number of infected with the epidemic has reached six lakhs and 12,326 people have died. The number of corona-infected people in Pakistan has crossed 5.59 lakhs and 12,185 people have died. More than 5.41 lakh people have been affected in the Philippines and 11,401 people have died.

In Bangladesh too, the number of patients has crossed 5.39 lakhs while 8,239 people have died. In Switzerland, more than 5.38 lakh people have been affected by this epidemic and 9,711 people have died.

More than 4.76 lakh people have been affected by the epidemic in Morocco and 8,436 people have died. More than 4.27 lakh people have been infected with Corona in Austria while 8,114 people have died. More than 3.71 lakh people have been infected with Corona in Saudi Arabia while 6,415 people have died.

The Corona virus has killed 15,116 in Ecuador, 10,996 in Bolivia, 9,804 in Egypt, 6,722 in Japan, 5,989 in Guatemala, 5,550 in Panama and 4,825 in China.
