FM University opens office for international affairs

BHUBANESWAR: The Fakir Mohan University Balasore has opened an office for international affairs at its campus to coordinate all matters relating to welcoming and supporting foreign students. It will also help in collaborating with foreign universities for student exchange, research or knowledge transfer.
The Objective of the international office is to disseminate information related to the admission process along prospective foreign students, to engage in promotional activities of FM University abroad so that it becomes a brand and it will also facilitate networking with students from India and abroad.
This office will become a single point contact for carrying out all collaborative activities with foreign institutions and extend all possible help to the foreign students to adapt to new culture and environment and make their stay comfortable. It will also provide information to the students and teachers regarding various scholarships and fellowships available in different countries so that students and teachers can be benefited.
Dinabandhu Sahoo, vice chancellor, Fakir Mohan University, Balasore, while inaugurating the new office, said students and faculties should get the opportunities to learn and interact at the international level. The students and faculties are quite excited as they will get better opportunities, he added.
