US internet traffic increases 40% to average 483 GB per subscriber

US internet subscribers consumed on average close to half a terabyte (TB) of data in Q4 2020, up 40 percent from 2019 due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, according to data from OpenVault. The pandemic impact is even more pronounced with the growth in upstream bandwidth.
