Sonakshi Sinha is once again joining her colleagues from Bollywood as she takes to social media to express her views about the ongoing farmers' protest in India. Sonakshi posted a poem on Instagram, wherein she has gone out of her way and recited and dedicated it to the hands that feed us - farmers. Titled 'Kyun', the actress captions her post, 'Nazarein milake khud se poochho- kyun? A tribute to the hands that feed us... a beautiful poem written by @varadbhatnagar. Shot and conceptualized by @gursanjam.s.puri and narrated by me. #farmersprotest' The poem talks of why farmers have been forced to abandon their fields and take to the streets, and why the protesters are being tagged as rioters. This comes a few days after the actress shared a note on her Instagram story that speaks about journalists being harassed, the internet being banned and the protesters being targeted. For the unversed, it's been more than two months since tens of thousands of farmers have been camped on the borders of Delhi, protesting against three farm bills introduced by the government. As more and more farmers head towards the borders to join the protesting farmers and show their support, celebs, too, have been taking to social media to express their views. While some have extended their support to the farmers, others are of the opinion that citizens should focus on the government's efforts to resolve the ongoing farmer crisis rather than paying attention to 'half-truths' and those 'creating differences.' Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Diljit Dosanjh, Swara Bhasker, Sonam Kapoor, Mika Singh were among the first to lend their voice to the cause and the protesting farmers. Meanwhile, after International R & B singer Rihanna and climate activist Greta Thunberg tweeted in support of the farmers, bringing worldwide attention to the farmers' protests, celebs like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Karan Johar, Suniel Shetty, among others, tweeted in favour of the government and urged the people to be wary of 'false propaganda against India'.
